Back in 1979, I first walked through the doors of Diet Center to lose weight.  My mother and sister had both been very successful with Diet Center and I wanted that success for myself.  Little did I know what a difference that first step would make in my life!

After graduating from college, I went into the corporate world for many years, but found it wasn't compatible for my family.  I had an opportunity to work at the Diet Center in Grand Island, Nebraska and I haven't looked back since!  I had the chance to actually purchase the business in 1997 and it has turned out to be the best move I have ever made for myself and family.

Diet Center has been very progressive in the field of weight loss and the company always seems to have its finger on the pulse of the industry.  As technology and information has developed over the years, Diet Center has stayed very current and is one of the reasons that Diet Center has stayed so relevant for over 39 years. And the support system they provide for their franchisees has been invaluable.

Financially, Diet Center has been very rewarding for me.  As a single parent raising three sons, my business has provided an income that was difficult to attain in my other employment.  It's a wonderful feeling to know that I can provide for my family above and beyond what I ever imagined.
